Further, it is involved in oil shale mining located in Sao Mateus do Sul, Parana, Brazil and in the Uintah Basin in the state of Utah. The company was formerly known as Westpro Equipment Ltd. and changed its name to Questerre Energy Corporation in December 2000. Questerre Energy Corporation was incorporated in 1971 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
